We recently notified shareholders that the Lord Abbett Investment Funds stopped accepting subscription and redemption requests on 30 April 2009 (the Closing Date) and have now begun the process of an orderly wind up.
Shareholders who remained in the Funds on the Closing Date may expect to receive the following:
| An initial capital payment, based on the units of the Funds owned, paid by the end of May 2009 with potentially a final capital payment once the accounts of the Funds have been finalised. | |
| For those Funds that generate surplus income, a dividend or interest distribution paid at the end of June 2009 representing any income less current expenses, together with a tax voucher. | |
| Audited final accounts for the Funds at the end of June 2009. |
